Jennifer "Jenny" (aka XJ-9) Wakeman is one of the main characters of Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi. She originated from the Nickelodeon series My Life as a Teenage Robot.

Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi

Jenny first appeared somewhere in Nevada fighting the Rowdyruff Boys, but she lost when her arm was shot off by Butch. Butch wanted to finish her off but was stopped by Brick who said the fight was over. Her mother Nora Wakeman came to her side and helped her. She shouted to Dr. Brisbaine that it was supposed to be a simulation not a slaughter. Brisbaine apologized, understimating the power of the Rowdyruff Boys and would make sure to compensate the damages of her daughter. Jenny was brought to Nora's lab and was being repared by both Nora and Sheldon. Sheldon said that it would be just like in the good old time which almost tempted Jenny to self destuct.

She was not seen for a while until the day when the girls returned from the beach. While on school Gaz's batteries ran out of power and she wanted to kill Dib, claiming it was his fault, but Jenny came and gave Gaz new batteries. Gaz immediately started playing. Bubbles saw her and cheered because she was a famous superhero, with Mandy commenting that Bubbles herself was too. Dib then interrupted and said he would like to continue the tour, that was interrupted by his sister. Bubbles looked confused, so Dib said he was giving her a tour while his father was giving Nora a tour, with a grumpy Jenny commenting that she is her mother. Bubbles went to Jenny and said she would love it if their parents would work together, so she could show Jenny around. Dib then asked if Professor Utonium was her father and he explained that the three of them indeed work together. Bubbles was over-excited and thought of XJ-9 as a big sister. Jenny said Bubbles could call her Jenny and that she would be like Bubbles if she was a kid. Jenny and Bubbles took a photo together and she would put it on Facebook during Bubbles' next class. Bubbles commented that she immediately will accept when she gets home.

Jenny and her mother visit Professor Utonium. Utonium asked Bubbles what Ms. Honeydew meant in her last message and Bubbles commented she had a dance. Jenny then said that almost the whole city is coming, only to see her mother. Utonium and Wakeman talked about the new experiment and Nora said it was one of her greatest yet. Jenny then said "or me" and Nore pulled her cheek saying she always will love her.

Jenny was along with her mother on the science fair andwere about to watch the preformance of Bubbles and the other dancers. Jenny already had her camera out to film it, when suddenly GIR jumped on her mother's head and then onto the stage. Jenny, angry, tried to get rid of him. But GIR put a device on her head that took control of her and turned her into a portal that opened between the Cluster Zone and Megaville. This allowed the Cluster to invade the Earth. Jenny was seen struggling to fight back to gain control of herself again, but Nool was able to reprogram Jenny, making sure she doesn't break free. Jenny was later seen in a photo with her mother while the explosion happened.

Later on, Dee Dee's ghost along with Blossom and Buttercup hear her scream, so Dee Dee then brought Blossom and Buttercup to the stage where Bubbles was, and she is seen lying on the stage, calling for Bubbles' help. Shortly after Dynamo bursts through the ground with Nora in it. She rushes to Jenny to repair her. Nora decides that she will stay in Megaville to help with figuring out what the bomb did, thus also moving Jenny there.

We see Jenny later, completely repaired and upgraded as she waits with her mother at Megaville Elementary welcoming Professor Utonium, the Powerpuff Girls and Professor Membrane with his children. Jenny and Bubbles wear matching bows and immediately cling to each other. They skate through the hallways and attend the meeting in Dexter's Lab. Later when Admiral DeGill calls, he summons XJ-9 to the Justice League Watchtower along with the girls. She flies there through space and contemplates how it is good to be back, noting she has been in the Watchtower before. Along with the others she attends the meeting, with Bubbles sitting on her shoulders.

After attending that meeting sometime later, Jenny and the Powerpuffs visited Dexter, clearly exhausted after being visited by Brick beforehand. After Dexter recalls this experience, there was a distress signal alerting that a neighborhood was being under attacked by

Grim Tales

In Grim Tales XJ-9 had been destroyed, so Professor Wakeman made a newer version and of course called it XJ-10.

Origin

Jenny is the main protagonist and the "16/17-year-old robot" to which the title refers, a state-of-the-art gynoid automaton created by Dr. Noreen Wakeman five years prior to the series, though she was designed as a 17-year-old girl. Though XJ-9 was designed to be Earth's protector, armed to the teeth with a wide range of weapons, devices, and transformations, she desires to live the life of a normal teenager and often makes this desire quite apparent to her friends and creator.

Appearance

Jenny is a female robot. She has a silver colored body with a blue top and blue skirt. She has also blue hair with two jet pigtails. She also sometimes wears a black skirt with a black jacket that has blue flame prints on them. In the character art she is red colored with orange flames similar to an episode of My Life As A Teenage Robot.

Powers & Abilities

Jenny, being a robot, is capable of summoning a large arsenel of weaponry. She can shoot a average large laser from her chest as shown during the battle with the Rowdyruff Boys. She also is shown to summon regular day machines like a digital photocamera, when she took a picture of her and Bubbles, and a digital camera, when filming the dancers. She hasn't shown any of her build in arsenal yet.

Jenny is a robot designed to protect earth from any threat, and accordingly she has a vast amount of superhuman abilities and weapons to do so.

  • Superhuman Strength: According to the opening, Jenny has the strength of one million and seventy men, but the exact magnitude is unknown. This is because her strength, like most of her powers, has fluctuated over the series. She has thrown an entire alien spaceship into orbit around the Sun, which puts her lifting strength beyond 300 gigatons of force.
  • Superhuman Running Speed: She can run faster than even the finest human athletes.
  • Superhuman Reflexes: She has superhuman reaction speed.
  • Superhuman Agility: Jenny's agility is far beyond that of even an olympic level athlete, as is her balance and coordination.
  • Superhuman Durability: Her outer shell is made from an extremely durable titanium alloy, built to withstand heavy impacts and damage, (though this ability can be inconsistent, as she has been blown up by dynamite and torn up before). However, her internal mechanisms are generally less durable and are much easier to damage.
  • Superhuman Stamina: As a robot, she can exert herself for hours, sometimes days before she runs out of energy.
  • Superhuman Hearing: Jenny shows that she has super hearing from the first episode by burning a hole into a frisbee that was about to hit her in the back of her head.
  • Telescopic Vision: She can see further than any human being.
    • Electromagnetic Vision: She has the ability to see different kinds of EM spectrum, some of them real, some others fictional:
      • Digital Vision: Makes everything looks like an 8-bit video game
      • Ultraviolet Vision: The ability to see ultraviolet light.
      • Infrared Vision: The ability to see heat radiation.
      • X-Ray Vision: The ability to see through solid objects.
      • Rainbow Vision: Makes everything look multicolor, with a 60's style.
      • "Heat" Vision: Makes everything look "hot" (i.e. Dr. Wakeman wearing a bathing suit while everything else is melting).
      • Sausage Vision: Makes everything look like sausages.
  • Flight: Jenny has rocket boosters to fly located in her feet, sprouted wings and her "hair". She can travel to the Moon in about 5 seconds, meaning she can travel at 1/4 the speed of light. She also flew to the opposite side of a hurtling Sun in 6 seconds, making her maximum potential for speed 83 times the speed of light.
  • Various Weaponry: Jenny's signature fighting style, consisting of unfolding a nearly unlimited number of weapons from inside her own mechanized body, although seeming random, are always chosen to fit the situation, even when looking absurd.
    • Shiva Swords: She sprouts 4 additional arms, and then forms swords out of all 6 of her arms.
    • Buzzsaw Arms
    • Heat Gun: Can reach temperatures of up to 1,700 °F.
    • Fire and Ice Blasters: Instantly melted and then froze asphalt respectively.
    • Fists of Fury: Giant Spiky Fists.
    • Drill Hair & Feet
    • Mighty Mallets: Giant Hand Hammers.
    • Electro Claw
    • Thunder Fist: Giant Flail.
    • Stun Grenade Gun: No explosive to be seen, but can reportedly fire at up to 125 rounds per second.
    • Tesla Cannon
    • Hair Razor-Rang: Razor Boomerang.
  • Energy Beam: She can fire energy blasts from her hands, feet, chest, eyes and "hair". She also has a wide array of weapons to do so, most notable being her "Laser Limb".
  • Stretchy Arms and Extendo-Fingers: She can stretch out her arms and fingers for miles. In “Raggedy Android” she used this ability to stop a runaway Ferris wheel, wrapping at least 7 times around it.
  • Shapeshifting: She can shapeshift into several (robotic) forms, such as a giant spider. "Victim of Fashion" shows that she can adapt new forms simply by scanning the imagery.
  • Repairs: She can remotely re-wire herself if she's damaged or destroyed, as well as simply replace limbs, such as her legs and her head.
  • Multilingualism: Jenny has integrated CDs containing data for every single language in the world, allowing her to speak every language known to mankind.
  • Corrosive Reflex: She can defend herself by using The Acid Reflex Lamination, made by triple polycarbonate lamination. This protects her against corrosive substances.

Trivia

  • When Jenny appears in chapter 8 she wear jacket similar to the one of Black★Rock Shooter.
